Understanding the family profile page
Quick answer: The family profile is divided into a Contact Card at the top plus three panels — left, center, and right — that show fields, conversations, and other family information.
The layout
The family profile (the "contact detail page" inside Growth Suite) is organized into four areas:
- Contact Card. The top of the page. Shows the family's primary phone number, email, address, owner, and tags.
- Left Panel. Custom fields and folders — usually where you'll find student details, household information, and any school-specific fields your team tracks.
- Center Panel. The main workspace. Conversations always live here, along with other key tools depending on how your view is set up.
- Right Panel. Additional modules — payments, tasks, appointments, or anything else important to surface alongside the main workspace.
Why your layout might look different
Your school's family profile view was set up during onboarding to match how your team works. Different team members may see slightly different layouts based on their role — for example, the head of school might see a view emphasizing enrollment status, while the billing administrator sees one emphasizing payments.
Up to five different views can exist per school. Each user is assigned to one view. If you ever feel like you're missing information or seeing fields you don't need, talk to your Growth Suite admin about adjusting your view.
Tips
- Anything you can see on the profile, you can usually edit by clicking on it.
- If a section is empty, it usually means that family hasn't engaged with that part of Growth Suite yet — not that something is broken.
- The Conversations module is always in the center panel. That's intentional and can't be moved.
