How to add a student to an existing family

Quick answer: Open the family's record, find the next empty student slot (Student 2, 3, or 4), and fill in the student's fields.

Step-by-step

  1. Find and open the family's record from Contacts.
  2. Locate the student fields. Depending on your school's profile view, they may be in the left panel or in a dedicated students section.
  3. Find the next empty student slot — if Students 1 and 2 are filled, fill Student 3.
  4. Enter the student's first name, last name, date of birth, and grade or program.
  5. The fields save automatically as you fill them in.

Tips

  • If the family already has four students and you need to add a fifth, contact your Growth Suite support team. The four-student limit isn't self-service.
  • If you want to rearrange which student is in which slot (for example, putting them in age order), you can do that by manually swapping the field values. There's no drag-and-drop reorder.
